This beautifully designed 3 1/8" mosaic-style St Benedict crucifix is Italian-made of die cast metal. It has a silver oxidized finish and is accented with black and red enamel and a silver corpus. The back of the crucifix shows the opposite side of the St Benedict medal located in the center of the cross. The soft rounded edges enhance the beauty of this unique piece. Comes complete with a 32 " brown cord to wear as a pendant, and a card describing the inscriptions on the medal in both English and Italian. The pendant comes in a plastic box.
The purpose of this medal/crucifix is to call down God's blessing and protection upon us wherever we are, and upon our homes and possessions especially through the intercession of Saint Benedict. By the conscious and devout use of the medal, it becomes a silent prayer and reminder to us of our dignity of followers of Christ.
