The Holy Trinity / Tertium Millennium crucifix features a unique design. Above the crucified Jesus is the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove and behind that is God the Father. The back of the crucifix have the words "tertium millennium" which celebrates martyrdom. Tertium millennium is the 3rd Millennium after Christ. It derives from Pope John Paul II's Apostolic letter "Tertio Millennio adveniente", proclaiming a jubilee year. Briefly it remarks that "Jesus Christ is the same forever". This crucifix is die-cast and silver oxidized for a rich dimensional finish as only the Italians have perfected. Approximately 2 1/4" inches in height, this crucifix is thick and well-made. The centerpiece features the classic Miraculous Medal in the shape of an "M". It is silver oxidized and measures 3/4".
