This silver oxidized rosary center features the traditional Miraculous Medal image of the Blessed Virgin Mary surrounded by the Latin inscription traditionally found on the Miraculous Medal, meaning “O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.” Deep blue enamel behind the figure of Mary adds color and contrast while highlighting the raised devotional details. The Miraculous Medal originated from the visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary received by St Catherine Labouré in Paris in 1830 and is also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception. Three connection points allow the center to be incorporated into handmade rosaries. Made in Italy and measuring approximately 3/4".
