It reads Regina Sime Labe Concepta Originali in Latin and translates to Queen Conceived without original sin. Measuring 3/4 inch in diameter, this medal is die-cast for exceptional detail, and silver oxidized with a rich, three dimensional silver plated finish as only the Italians in the central region of Italy have perfected. Known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception, this was created by St. Catherine Laboure following a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
