St Catherine of Siena was born in the 14th century to a family that already had 24 children. As a young girl, Catherine was visited by Jesus. Her parents hoped she'd marry, but she chose the life of a nun instead. Catherine was a huge influence to the Church and even convinced the Pope to relocate back to Rome. Centuries after her death, she was named a doctor of the Church.
