This ladder rosary earns its name because the beads are turned sideways and linked into chain rather than to one another, making the beads look like rungs on a ladder. “The stairway to heaven rosary” is so called because of the belief that praying any rosary draws one closer to God. The center piece features the Blessed Mother on one side and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the reverse. It is very strong due to its unique construction. The force of a pull on the rosary is placed on the chain, rather than on the links. Rosary measures approximately 17 1/2 inches and is made in Italy.
