This brazen serpent wood cross necklace is made in Italy with light brown wood and detailed lasering technology. It measures approximately 1.25" and hangs on a 28" cord.
The story of the brazen serpent can be found in the book of Numbers when Moses was instructed to raise a brazen serpent up on a pole in the desert. There were several serpents that were biting and killing people, but when Moses raised one of the serpents, all of the people who were bitten would look at the raised serpent and live. In the following verse, this is referenced again: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of man be lifted up.” (John 3:14)
