This two-sided silver oxidized rosary centerpiece depicts Jesus with His head bowed in prayer and sorrow on the front and the Sorrowful Mother on the reverse. The image of the Sorrowful Mother recalls the Seven Sorrows of Mary and her suffering in union with the Passion of Christ. Made in Italy, the approximately 5/8" centerpiece has a distinctive silhouette-shaped border that follows the contours of the devotional images rather than a traditional round or oval form. Its compact size makes it well suited for constructing traditional Catholic rosaries while providing meaningful imagery on both sides of the center.
